Unfortunately that means we're in allergy season, or near to it. Thank goodness for the great indoors and air purifiers! So, I want to talk a little bit about my comic creation process here, but before we get to that, here's Unnumbered #155, which I did final edits to this past week: Okay! So, I make a lost of single panel comics these days. This week's comic is one of those. I think something clicked in my brain in recent years that made one-liners easier to come up with. Now, as with most of my comics, I have a Clip Studio Paint template I use to make editing the comics easier. The single panel template looks like this: Note that the "Text/Joke" field is already filled out, as it helps me orient the text later and to keep the font and spacing consistent. This is important, but it also means that for the past year every single panel comic I work on starts with the wrong punchline. Which brings us, full circle, to this little piece of Far Side history: Dang, Gary Larson is a funny guy! (Hank Ketcham was no slouch, either.) See you next week!
